Hey, I’m James - an artist, designer, dad of three, and someone who’s spent the last few years building creative businesses from the ground up with limited time and even less budget.

I run a physical studio space in Bournemouth where I make art, rework clothing, Sashiko kits, pour coffee, and build brands and websites for other independent makers like me. Everything I do is about helping people bring their ideas to life and look like they’ve got their shit together - even when they’re figuring it out on the fly.

I don’t do cookie-cutter. I do considered design, solid systems, and creative solutions that feel real. If you’re trying to get something off the ground - or just make what you already have feel more you - I’d love to help.

Alongside client work, I’ve also built my own creative brand - ByJamesWilson - where I sell original art, prints, apparel, and collaborative pieces. It’s been featured in pop-ups, stocked in independent stores, and grown organically through Instagram @byjameswilson.
